The Possibilities are Endless

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. — Ephesians 3:20-21

The apostle Paul has just prayed for the Ephesians. He’s praying that they may grasp, through the help of the Holy Spirit, the full implications of the riches of the love of Christ, so that they may be filled with all the fullness of God. Such a prayer may seem undaunted indeed. But he adds this statement in the end — God can do more than we can ask or imagine! This means that Paul’s prayer is not just possible, it’s more than possible! He’s not even scratching the surface what we can experience in Christ! God can do even more! Let this be an encouragement to each one of us today. Our transformation in Christ is not just a possibility. There’s more that God wants to do in and through us, if we will just trust and obey Him. The possibilities are endless! So begin today, if you haven’t yet already. Trust in the Lord in every area of your life. Let Him direct you and lead you in the way you should go. Obey Him willingly and with joy. You will see God’s possibilities unfold in every step of the way! Shalom! (PB)
