Be Ready for Action

There is a season for preparation but there is also a season for action. Discerning when to wait and when to act is crucial to success in life. Depending on the Lord to give us wisdom at the right time, and in whatever season we are in, is crucial in making the right decisions. Our choices do matter for all eternity. How would you know that it’s time for you to act? There are five indicators…

 

If this is true in your case, then it’s time to move! Stop delaying or procrastinating! If you know the Lord is leading you to go in a certain direction, to stop a certain behavior, to enter into a particular relationship, or to get out of a current relationship, to make that transaction, to talk with that person, to move to a certain place, etc. — then do it! Waiting and delaying can just be disobedience in disguise! Trust the Lord and take that next step of faith.

But as you do so, remember these simple guidelines. They are the basics of a godly life. You must test yourself in each of these areas as you take action based on faith. These guidelines are based on Romans 12:1-21 (read it first before going through this list).

 

Last but not the least, as you pursue God’s purpose in your life, always check your actions based on your true intentions. Your ultimate goal must be to glorify the Lord.

And whatever you do,whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:17)
