Real Life Christian Communities began in 1997. It was started by five couples, namely (frist picture, from left to right): Rey and Marette Saron, Terry and Tess Reyes, Mojet and Josephine Tolentino, Edwin and Pastora Marifi Gumatay, and Pastor Bong and Pastora Gina Baylon. The church was incorporated in 1998.
Our story began with just one Simple Church meeting in different places between 1995 to 1996. At first we didn’t know where the Lord was leading us. But we were sure that God had a wonderful plan. So we waited, studying God’s word together and patiently seeking God’s guidance. Finally, the Lord led us to San Pedro, Laguna. Only one couple lived in San Pedro, Mojet and Josephine Tolentino, but we sensed the Lord impressing upon us that this is the place where we must establish the network of Simple Churches and Communities that God wanted us to start. After much prayer and fasting, we finally decided to start Real Life Christian Communities in Calendola Village, San Pedro, Laguna.
So the rest of the couples transferred to San Pedro. In December 21, 1997 we held our first public worship service at the top floor of Tayao Building, located near the Municipal Hall of San Pedro. The rest is history.
Today we have our main worship center at our present location: Rice Compound, National Highway, San Antonio, San Pedro City, Laguna. Click here to view our location map.
The church is now a network of Simple Churches and Communities scattered everywhere but united under one vision.
