The first thing to do is to pray. Of course, that seems pretty obvious. But many forget this very important truth: Without prayer you cannot really succeed. So the key is to saturate the entire process with prayer, not just at the beginning. Initially, pray for God to open the door for you to reach out to your love ones and friends. Remember the acrostic OPEN.
O – Pray that God will give you the opportunity to reach out.
P – Pray that God will enable you to present your invitation to them clearly.
E – Pray that God will encourage them to accept your invitation.
N – Pray that God will neutralize the enemy’s attempts to stop them.
Pray specifically for each person in your H.I.T. List. Pray fervently and passionately for the salvation of your loved ones and friends.
7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. (John 15:7-8)
